Our commitment

Hurricane Creek Lodge strives to ensure that our website is accessible to people with disabilities. We believe every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence, and we have designed this site with that in mind.

What we've done

This website is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level. That includes:

• Semantic page structure with clear headings and landmarks
• Full keyboard navigation, including menus and photo galleries, with visible focus indicators
• Text alternatives for meaningful images
• Sufficient color contrast and text that can be resized
• Respect for your device's “reduce motion” setting
• Layouts that adapt to phones, tablets and desktops

Ongoing effort

We continue working to improve the accessibility of our site. Despite our efforts, some content, such as older photo galleries or third-party content like embedded videos, maps and forms, may not yet fully meet the strictest accessibility standards.
